Gloria: Much of my inspiration comes from my extensive travels throughout the world ― absorbing the dazzling diversity of colors and shapes found in nature and made by humankind. My love of color is best expressed in the Yoruba belief that the more colors you wear (or, I believe, use in art), the more positive energy you are putting into the universe. Art, nature, color ― these are my loves. And in the tradition that believes we are here to heal the universe ― they are my tools. Art, always essential in my life. Bold colors, intricately patterned Enchanted the child (forever) in me.
